Darlington police have charged Teresa Larymore with extortion.

They say she blackmailed a man for months, threatening to reveal damaging information about him in order to get $3,000.

Investigators say the had Larymore under surveillance, and when she showed up to collect the money from the victim, they arrested her.

She is being held at the Darlington County Detention Center.
