A cold front sliding to our South will bring a slight drop in the humidity across the Pee Dee today. Hot and humid conditions, along with a slight chance for a stray shower or storm, can be expected for the Grand Strand. A heat advisory is in effect until 7pm for Horry, Georgetown, Williamsburg, Lee, Sumter, and Clarendon counties. Expect it to remain hot Inland, but it won't be as unbearably humid as it has been lately. Highs will hit the low 90s along the Grand Strand and mid 90s Inland. Watch for the heat index to range from 98° - 107°.

Partly cloudy skies can be expected overnight with lows in the mid to low 70s.

Saturday will see cooler temps and less humidity area wide. Highs will hit the upper 80s along the Grand Strand and around 90 Inland. Partly sunny skies will remain around with only a slight chance for an afternoon storm, mainly Inland.

Sunday will see the humidity on the rise a little with a slightly better chance for afternoon storms. First Alert Meteorologist Darren Stack has the details in your 7 day forecast.
