Monday afternoon, AJ Woye, 18, pleaded guilty to the murder of Jeremiah Jenkins, 17. Jenkins was killed in August of 2008.

Jenkins body was found inside a wall in a vacant warehouse in Florence 24 days after he was killed.

12th Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements says Woye was told by his co-defendant in this case, Donovan Roman, to stab Jenkins.

Earlier this year, Roman was sentenced to life in prison.

Circuit Court Judge Craig Brown sentenced Woye to 45 years in prison for murder.

Clements says that exceeds minimum sentence for murder in South Carolina, which is 30 years.

Woye will get credit for the nearly two years he's already served in jail.
