Darlington's city pool reopened Friday morning for the first time since two teens drowned there last month.

The bodies of Justin McKay, 14, and Timquan "Maleek" McAllister, 13, were found in the bottom of the pool after lifeguards ordered swimmers out of the water due to bad weather.

The pool has remained closed ever since. City council made the decision to reopen it Thursday night.

The city says it will train lifeguards on how to use a defribullator, and they plan to install cameras around the pool.

A coroner's inquest ruled the drownings accidental.
