State Highway Patrol charged Gwendolyn Rich, 18, with driving too fast for conditions in connection with a deadly motorcycle accident on May 13.

The accident happened on Highway 17 Bypass between the Myrtle Beach International Airport and the back gate of the former Air Force Base.

Highway Patrol says Rich's car collided with a motorcycle driven by James Marlowe, 28, from Florida. Marlowe died in the crash.

Highway Patrol's special accident investigation team concluded its investigation last week.
