Myrtle Beach police and fire crews responded to a person run over and stuck under a truck on the beach.

Assistant Chief Dan Cimini, with the Myrtle Beach Fire Department, said firefighters were called to the scene to help free the man.  It happened between 7th and 8th Avenues North.

Crews rescued the man and took him to the hospital.

The victim is expected to be OK.  Myrtle Beach Police said they wouldn't have a full report on the accident until Monday.
