A moped collided with a trash can in the 1900 Avenue South area of Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach around 10:30 Friday morning.

The driver was taken to the hospital.  Lt. Doug Furlong with Myrtle Beach Police says the victim's injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
