Federal, state and local agencies will be on the Grand Strand this week learning how to combat gang activity.
It's the annual gang conference put on by the South Carolina Gang Investigator's Association. The non-profit group provides training to police, schools and other community organizations on dealing with gang activity.
Representatives from the U.S. Attorney General's Office, SLED, FBI and ATF agents, as well as local law enforcement officers from around the state will attend the conference.
The event runs from Monday through Wednesday.
