Court officials in Marlboro County tell NewsChannel 15 they have postponed the trial of Kenwood Bright.
He is charged in the murder of Christopher Dease back in August of 2008.
Police say Bright shot Dease outside of a house in Bennettsville.
After the killing, officers say Bright fled to Virginia, where he was later arrested by U.S. Marshals.
He has remained behind bars since his arrest.
Court officials say Bright's trial will begin on March 8th at the Marlboro County Court House.
