Movie-goers on the south end of the grand strand need to find a new theatre.
Regal Cinemas announced Thursday it's closing its theatre at Inlet Square Mall on Sunday.
A company spokesman said the mall's announced renovation plans haven't come to fruition.. and therefore, "Regal has terminated the lease due to the negative impact on our business from the stalled renovation project for the mall."
The spokesman said some of the staff accepted positions at a sister theatre in Florence.
