Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews has identified the man who died in a house fire in Coward Wednesday as 37-year-old James A. Kelley.

An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.

Family members say Kelley's son was injured trying to save his father. The son's condition has not been released.

The fire started around 3:15pm Wednesday.

The Florence County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause.
