29-year-old William Truett Rogers faces charges in an internet predator case investigated by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
The investigation was part of one conducted by Attorney General Henry McMaster's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Investigators say Rogers emailed obscene material to a person he thought was a 13-year-old girl. After getting a search warrant, investigators say they determined he had an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old.
Rogers is charged with criminal solicitation of a minor, dissemination of harmful material to a minor, and criminal sexual conduct third degree.
