A man convicted twice of murdering his girlfriend's husband on the beach in Myrtle Beach back in 1998 will have his appeal heard before the South Carolina Supreme Court Tuesday.

John Boyd Frazier was given a life sentence when he was first convicted in 2000 of murdering 24-year-old Brent Poole as Poole and his wife Renee walked on the beach.

Prosecutors said Frazier and Renee Poole were having an affair and planned her husband's murder.

Frazier appealed, and in 2004 the SC Supreme Court said Frazier didn't get a fair trial because the judge didn't allow the defense to present certain evidence.

The new trial was held in 2005 and frazier was again convicted, this time sentenced to 30 years.

Renee Poole is serving a life sentence for her husband's murder.

This guy really shouldnt ask for anything. He should be thankful he didnt get the chair or a needle in his arm for what he did. Conspiring with that low life woman to kill a man who just wanted to patch up his family life and loved his daughter. I watched the story on TV and was so disgusted by it. Did anyone know that Brent's daughter cried and begged her daddy not to leave the night he was killed? He should sit in jail for the rest of his life just like the co-conspirator. I think the court showed mercy by imposing a life sentence. This guy and that Renee woman are really the scum of the earth.
