The Nutcracker presented by the South Carolina Dance theatre is being performed this weekend at the Florence Little Theatre.
Friday was the opening night and a sold out crowd came out to the performance.
The Florence Symphony Orchestra provided a live music for the shows.
The Nutcracker is one of the great classics and a Christmas tradition and is known to set the stage for the beginning of the holiday season around the world.
The Nutcracker performances continue this weekend with a Saturday evening show at 7:30 and and a Sunday matinee at 3:00 p.m.
