Officials with Horry County Schools say H1N1 or Swine Flu vaccines will be available for students who want them starting Monday.

Health officials with the school district met with DHEC workers to figure out exactly how to distribute the vaccines at schools.

Tammy Truelove is the health coordinator for Horry County Schools, she says the plan is to hit elementary schools first.

"We thought this was the best plan for us at this time is to make sure the smaller children are vaccinated and then we'd move on up through middle and high schools," said Truelove

Officials say they hope to be done giving out vaccines for everyone by the second week in December.

Georgetown County Schools will begin giving out vaccines Thursday.

You should call your child's school to find out specific times when vaccines will be administered.
