An Atlantic Beach resident is suing the town's leaders, claiming they want the town to be a drug haven.

In the suit, Amy Breunig claims she bought property in the town, hoping to develop it, but found out the town's leaders want Atlantic Beach to be their own "private corrupt reserve." Breunig, who is white, claims town leaders resent her because of her race and enforce laws against her that they don't against black residents.

Breunig claims she has suffered intense distress, public humiliation, loss of income and other damages.
