Students and staff have been allowed back into Marlboro County High School after a bomb threat was called into the school Thursday morning.

Bennettsville Police chief Larry McNeil says the threat was called in around 9 a.m.

McNeil says a caller said a bomb was in a bathroom.

Police evacuated the building and used bomb-sniffing dogs to search the school.

This is the second bomb threat called in to the high school since the school year started in August.

Bennettsville Police chief Larry McNeil tells NewsChannel 15 a bomb threat was called in at Marlboro County High School around 9 a.m. Thursday morning.

McNeil says a caller said a bomb was in a bathroom.

Police have evacuated the building as bomb-sniffing dogs search the facility.

This is the second bomb threat called in to the high school since the school year started in August.
