Students/staff back in school after bomb threat at MCHS

Students and staff have been allowed back into Marlboro County High School after a bomb threat was called into the school Thursday morning.

Bennettsville Police chief Larry McNeil says the threat was called in around 9 a.m.

McNeil says a caller said a bomb was in a bathroom.

Police evacuated the building and used bomb-sniffing dogs to search the school.

This is the second bomb threat called in to the high school since the school year started in August.
