A Dillon County man has been found not guilty for the murder of his friend.

In 2007, police arrested Robert Driggers on charges of killing James McNeil.

McNeil was shot to death at his home in Lake View.

Captain Cliff Arnette with the Dillon County Sheriff's office says a jury acquitted Driggers on the murder charge, but did find him guilty of petit larceny.

The judge gave Driggers 30 days on that conviction, but Arnette says he got credit for time served.

The Judical System

The Dillon County Judical System SUCKS!!!! When the police first arrested Drigger in SC, (because he fled, with my uncle's truck) He admitted to the murder. But today for some odd reason he was found not guilty... How did my uncle die? He didn't shoot his-self in the back of the head... Come on now!!! Where is the justice!!! Why run, and still a car if you did nothing wrong? Dillon County needs to do better...
