Three Benedict College students from Columbia are facing charges in connection with an armed robbery in Florence.

We're told one of them is from Timmonsville.

Officers say Trey Douglas, Tristan Stringer, and Alfred Jones have all been charged in the armed robbery.

Police say just before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the men held up checks to cash on West Palmetto Street.

Florence Police say they ran out of the store following the robbery.
