The Marlboro County community of McColl is mourning the death of a longtime town council member.
Earlier this week, Arthur Adams passed away from a brief illness. He had served on McColl town council for 12 years.
Adams will be laid to rest Saturday afternoon at Saint Paul AME Zion Church in McColl.
