Was Lindsay Graham listening to the same Presidential address that the rest of America was? Or is he merely repeating a party line? Mr. Obama's plan was a centrist, uniquely American, bipartisan proposal that included ideas from both left and right, Republicans and Democrats. As far as being disrespectful, it was Mr. Graham and his fellow Republicans who misbehaved during the address. This summer we've heard enough lies from the GOP about death panels, a government take-over of healthcare, not to mention the whole birther nonsense, and most Americans are, frankly, quite tired of this churlishness. I have visited the state of South Carolina innumerable times, and I wonder why such charming people would be represented by people like Lindsay Graham and Joe Wilson? As a self-identified independent and moderate who has voted for both Republicans and Democrats equally over the past 25 years, I am, frankly, disgusted with Mr. Graham's comments and attitude. If his attitude is indicative of his party, then they are writing their epitaph even as we speak.

Congressman Joe Wilson spoke for millions of us when he pointed to only one of the lies Obama told during the speech.
We can read and we know what is in the Healthcare bill, This President is trying to make us out to be idiots because we have found him out.
We need more brave Congressman to speak out against the lies of this administration.
The only crises we face are those created by the Obama administration to push their socialist agenda
By the way the democrats booed President Bush on several occasions. Where was the outcry then?

Combative tone? Lindsey is still as pompous as ever. Assertive would more accurately describe the President’s tone.
