Captain Cliff Arnette with the Dillon County Sheriff's Office says officers are searching off North Bear Swamp Road near the Ford Town community for a burglary suspect.

Arnett says Thursday afternoon officers went to the suspect's home to charge him in connection with the theft of a large sum of money from a home.

Arnette says the man took off running into the woods.

The suspect's name isn't being released at this time.
