A man walked more than 100 miles to Myrtle Beach Wednesday for a good cause.

Mark Foster is raising money and awareness for the plight of orphans in Peru.

Foster and his wife were looking to adopt and found there are 600,000 orphans in Lima alone.

"Today I got a text message with a picture of some school kids that have been bringing their piggy banks and filling up a large coffee cup with coins, so just all different ways people are choosing," Mark Foster said.

Foster left Holly Ridge, North Carolina three days ago and NewsChannel 15 was able to catch up with him at the Little River swing bridge.
