Carolina Spotlight: Jack Thompson Day

Taylor came to WPDE in 2011 from Greensboro, N.C., after working at WFMY News 2 and reporting for the Elon Sports Network.

It is Jack Thompson Day in Myrtle Beach, a day to remember a long-time Grand Strand photographer and unofficial Myrtle Beach historian.

Today is Jack's birthday, and there is a reception going on at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot until 7:00 p.m.

Thompson will display many of his historic photos of Myrtle Beach during the event.
