North Myrtle Beach's Team Depot spent Thursday sprucing up the gardens. Team Depot is a group of employees at Home Depot who volunteer throughout the community.
The school received a $2,000 grant from Home Depot to cover the cost of the landscaping.
"One of the core values at Home Depot is to give back to the community. We are happy to be a part of the community," Alton says.
"We have employees that have family that go to the school here. We all live in the community, we are a part of the community, so we want to make sure we take care of the community, " said Wayne Alton, the Team Depot captain.
The Myrtle Beach Home Depot Team will touch up the gardens at Carolina Forest Elementary School on Friday.
