Carolina Spotlight: Power Born Rebellion

Taylor came to WPDE in 2011 from Greensboro, N.C., after working at WFMY News 2 and reporting for the Elon Sports Network.

A Myrtle Beach rock group is a contender in a global battle of the bands.

Power Born Rebellion won the local round of Hard Rock Rising, the band competition sponsored by Hard Rock Café.

The band will face off against 85 other local winners for a chance to play at the 2012 Hard Rock Calling Music Festival in London's Hyde Park

Power Born Rebellion needs your help to win the contest. The top ten will be chosen by fan voting.
