A 7-year-old boy is riding his bike over 300 miles to raise money for a Christian organization called Samaritans Purse.

C.J. Burford rode the North Carolina coast, starting from the Virginia line and ending at the North Carolina/South Carolina line in Horry County.

People could sponsor each mile, raising money for Samaritans Purse "Turn the Tap" Water project.

The money will be used to build wells, purify water systems and preserve clean water.
