In 1998 Victoria was named Assistant News Director/Reporter for the Myrtle Beach bureau and in 1999 became News Director.

The Sons of Italy are hosting auctions and a pasta dinner to raise money for the Cooley's Anemia Foundation.

The CAF helps people afflicted with thalassemia, a group of genetic blood disorders.

Saturday, February 25th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the event will be held at the Grand Strand Senior Center at 1268 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.

Admission is free, but the pasta dinner is $10.00.

The dinner will include ravioli, meat balls, salad, dessert and coffee.

The event is sponsored by the Order Sons of Italy in America Grand Strand Lodge 15591.
