Local veterans are sporting a new haircut. Wounded Warriors held a cut-a-thon Monday.

For a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for children, you could get a fresh cut and support our veterans.

All of the donations benefited the Patriot Hunts Organization.

It provides outdoor experiences for Wounded Warriors.

"Everybody feels the need to do something for these guys coming home from both wars. They come home and they need a little guidance, little fellowship, little friendship, "says Kevin Klein, event organizer.

Four Myrtle Beach area salons provided services, including Cheveau Hair Salon.
