A soldier got a very special care package while serving overseas but the gift was just delivered to him Friday. That's our Carolina Spotlight.
Staff Sergeant Michael Fullerton got his Harley Davidson motorcycle at a ceremony in Myrtle Beach.
The group 'Operation Gratitude' wanted to find a way to make their 500,000 package special, so they sent keys to a Harley in the box. But Sergeant
Fullerton had to wait until he got home to receive his gift.
"What represents freedom more than a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The freedom to ride. The freedom to enjoy our country," Donald Allen, Veterans
Traveling Tribute, said.
"Completely surprised. Overwhelmed. It was pretty surreal. I don't know what else, what else to say," Sgt. Michael Fullerton said.
Sgt. Fullerton served in Iraq, Afghanistan and South America.
Besides riding his new Harley, he plans to spend his time getting to know his new son.
