Votes for the South Carolina State House seat representing the Carolina Forest area were certified in Horry County Friday.
After the certification, DiSabato gained two votes to garner 4,709. Mike Ryhal received 4,813 votes which is 1.086% more than DiSabato, 1% or more is required to avoid an automatic recount.
The state will make the final decision on whether a recount is in order on Wednesday.
