COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- An error in entering numbers for the South Carolina lottery into a computer has resulted in two winning combinations for Saturday's Pick 4 game.

Lottery officials said Monday the game will pay ticket holders with the actual winning numbers of 7-2-4-5 and those with the numbers mistakenly entered into the central validating system, 1-2-4-5.

Lottery spokeswoman Stephanie Summers Hemminghaus says the lottery will investigate how the error happened. The payout for the real winning numbers will total $20,100, while the payout on the incorrect numbers is $98,100.

Individual winning tickets could be worth $100 to $5,000 depending on a variety of options players can choose when they buy their tickets.

Hemminghaus said a similar mistake happened in June 2005.
