The Horry County Police Department has announced the arrests of two people following a drug investigation. Officers launched the investigation after getting complaints of illegal drug activity.

About 7 months into the investigation officers executed a search warrant at a home on Junco Circle in the Longs area last week.

Detectives seized about 397 grams of cocaine and $1,670.

Two people were arrested, 27-year-old Alton Wesley Gore from Longs and 24-year-old Angel Deangelo also from Longs.

Gore is charged with Trafficking Cocaine 200 grams, but less than 400 grams 2nd Offense, Trafficking Cocaine 28 grams, but less than 100 grams 2nd Offense (2 counts), Trafficking Cocaine 10 grams, but less than 28 grams 2nd Offense, Simple Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs 2nd Offense, Possession of MDMA 2nd Offense and Driving Under Suspension.

Deangelo is charged with Trafficking Cocaine 200 grams, but less than 400 grams, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of MDMA, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs and Interfering in Investigation.
