Tuesday The Marlboro County Sheriff's Office announced the sentencing of 39-year-old Antonio Goode aka "Polo" of Scotland County, NC.

Goode was sentenced to 235 months in federal prison.

In September 2008, The Marlboro County Sheriff's Office, SLED and immigration and customs agents were conducting an investigation into Goode's drug activities.

The investigation ended with Goode traveling to McColl in Marlboro County with the intent to purchase ½ kilogram of cocaine from an undercover operative working for the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office.

Goode was also in possession of over $15,000 at the time.

Once Goode took possession of the cocaine he was arrested. Goode was charged in state court with trafficking cocaine over 400 grams and was later indicted in federal court.

Goode had other drug arrests prior to the 2008 arrest.
