The family reacted with jubilation as everyone shouted "Move That Bus."

It's been a week of hard work for thousands of volunteers. Today, it all paid off. The Suggs family is home, inside their new house, for the very first time.

It was an exciting afternoon - as the bus moved - and they got the surprise of a lifetime. The crowd chanted "Move that Bus!" "Move that Bus!"

And when the bus finally moved for the Suggs family, there was jumping for joy, tears flowing and lots of hugs and screams.

Derrick Suggs' mother Tammy said this has been the longest week of her life - waiting for them to come home. "But it has been the best day of my life - seeing them come home and seeing their excitement when they saw their home."

We asked her what Amanda Suggs told her when they got out of the limo. "She said I love you mama. I'm home. And I was glad she was home and I wanted them to come back home. And I appreciate everything everyone has done for them. Extreme Makeover, the volunteers, the businesses, everybody. Especially Sterling Homes."

This was the third Extreme Makeover build for Sterling Homes' Clinch Heyward and Harry Dill, who built a house for the Suggs family in 106 hours. "It's all about the family. That's what it's all about to start with. But the community support on this one was phenomenal. I mean look at the crowd that came out today," said Harry Dill.

A crowd that came out - not just to see a new house, but a new home.

Although the family is home, they won't get to spend their first night in the house until tomorrow night. That's because the crew will continue to tape inside until tomorrow.

Tomorrow, the Suggs family will talk to NewsChannel 15 about their experience. You'll hear from them Tuesday night at 6, 7 and 11.

Wednesday, we'll find out how the Extreme Canned Food Drive did, in terms of the number of tons of food collected. Spectators today were asked to bring canned goods to support the drive.

As for when the episode with the Suggs family will air, it will be this spring, but an exact air date has not been scheduled.

We'll be sure to let you know when it is.
