The builders of the Extreme Makeover home in Horry County are looking forward to handing over the keys to the design team Sunday morning.
Saturday afternoon, volunteers inside the home painted and worked on trim work.
And as the rain moved in, crews did something that has made possibly the most dramatic difference in the looks of the house. They laid sod.
Pallet after pallet went down in the backyard. One of the volunteers, County Council Chairman Liz Gilland.
Sunday morning, they will paint the sod green, just so it looks good on TV.
Once the builders hand over the keys to the home Sunday morning, volunteers will start moving furniture in. All the furniture came from Furnitureland South in Jamestown, NC.
Through the day and night Sunday, the designers will work to decorate the home to get it ready for the Suggs family to come home Monday for the big reveal.
