One reason Extreme Makeover producers returned to Horry County was the community response and support.
One of the biggest supporters has been Renee Wilson who, along with her four grandchildren, was the recipient of an Extreme Makeover home in 2007.
Wilson was out at Wal-Mart in North Myrtle Beach Thursday helping collect food for the Extreme Canned Food Drive.
At a weighing Wednesday, they had raised 10 tons of food. The goal is 100 tons.
There are 70 drop off sites for canned food donations including all Horry County Wal-Mart stores.
