Monday morning, the Extreme Makeover Home Edition design team pulled up in their bus to the Suggs family's home in Loris in Horry County.
Along with Ty Pennington, designers Paige Hemmis, Ed Sanders, and John Littlefield, will rebuild the family's home.
Local builder, Sterling Homes, will make this their third Extreme Makeover Home Edition project. In 2007, they built a home for Renee Wilson and her four grandchildren the first time the show came to Horry County. Sterling Homes also traveled to New Orleans when they were chosen for the show's 50-state reunion build.
Thousands of volunteers will take part in this effort. While general volunteer registration is closed, needs will arise throughout the week for professional skills and trades and supplies. For an up-to-date list, click here for www.ExtremeHorry.com
