NewsChannel 15 has learned the celebrity builder for Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Horry County is Sprint Cup driver Jeff Gordon.
This morning, Ty Pennington and the designers will knock on the door of a family to change their lives forever.
Over the next week, the designers, Gordon, a four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, and local builder Sterling Homes will join thousands of volunteers to build the family a new home.
Gordon finished third in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship points in 2009.
