The Florence County Sheriff's Office says the autopsy done on 38-year-old Bernard Cannon of Pamplico did not reveal a cause of death.

Cannon's body was discovered on November 24th in a water filled ditch behind a residence off Pine and Fifth Streets.

The sheriff's office says Cannon was last seen on or about November 11, 2009 after he was released from the Florence County Detention Center following his arrest on a public intoxication charge.

Cannon had been reported missing by relatives on November 24, 2009.

Although the autopsy did not reveal a cause or manner of death, the sheriff's office says there was no evidence of obvious trauma.
