Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews has released the names of the victims of Thursday night's fiery crash on Highway 76 on the Pee Dee River Bridge.

36 year old Curtis Johnson and his daughter, 13 year old Crystal Johnson, both of Georgia, were killed when their vehicle was involved in the 4-vehicle crash.

The accident happened on the Pee Dee River Bridge between Florence and Marion counties in the eastbound lane of Highway 76 around 8pm Thursday.

Highway Patrol says an 18-wheeler, a dump truck, and two passenger vehicles collided on the bridge. The 18-wheeler caught fire.

In addition to the two people killed, several others were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.

Highway Patrol's special accident investigation team is on scene looking into exactly what happened.

All lanes of HIghway 76 are now back open after being closed through the night.
