Two Marlboro County children are being treated at the Augusta Burn Center after EMS officials tell us they were accidentally burned by fireworks.

It happened at a home on Wafer Road in Marlboro County Thursday night.

EMS officials tell us someone was shooting fireworks, when one hit a bucket filled with other fireworks causing it to ignite.

We're told a four-year-old boy and six-year-old girl were sitting on the porch near the bucket and were burned.

Officials say the boy suffered minor injuries, but the girl has second degree burns to her face, chest and neck. EMS officials tell us they immediately took the children to the Augusta Burn Center for treatment.

We have a crew headed to Marlboro County to get more information on this story and we'll have more tonight at six.
