Thursday afternoon, deputies busted a Darlington County man on charges of dealing drugs and they confiscated equipment from his lawn care business.
Deputies seized nearly seven pounds of marijuana, three guns and about two thousand dollars in cash from a home on Blanding Street in Hartsville. They've charged 34-year-old Nazareth Stevenson with distribution of marijuana and distribution near the proximity of a school.
Police say they seized Stevenson's tools for his lawn care business, because they believe it's connected to his drug business.
Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd said, "It was obviously the result of his drug activity and one of the questions we had was, if he bought it with drug proceeds or the possibility is also that some of it maybe stolen."
Deputies also confiscated Stevenson's two vehicles.
He remains in jail awaiting a bond hearing.
