It's no surprise the numbers were down for this year's spring bike rallies on the Grand Strand. Friday, we got a better idea about how much.

Taylor Damonte from CCU's Center for Economic Development says hotel occupancy numbers for the Harley Rally we're down more than 30 percent this year compared to last. Overall revenue was down nearly 25 percent

For the Atlantic Beach Memorial Day Weekend Bikefest occupancy numbers were down nearly 22 percent. Revenue was down more than 32 percent.

The numbers are compiled from Garden City to Little River.

Next week the Center for Economic Development at CCU is expected to release more detailed numbers showing the differences between occupancy in the city limits of Myrtle Beach as compared to the rest of the county.
