The former director of Mercy Ministries, Incorporated in Chesterfield County tells us the FBI has issued a subpoena for their financial records as part of the FBI's investigation of the 4th Circuit Solicitor's Office.

Barbara Bullard of Mercy Ministries says she can't tell us the specifics of the investigation, but says former solicitor Jay Hodge and two of his employees serve on Mercy Ministries' Board of Directors.

Mercy Ministries is a non-profit organization for victims of domestic violence.

We've learned Hodge resigned as assistant solicitor of the fourth circuit earlier this week.

FBI officials can't comment on an investigation until it's complete.
