A free workshop is being offered, "How to Survive a Recession?"

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the class, along with small business counselors to teach strategies on to reduce the impacts of a recession on small businesses, how to cut costs, increase revenue, and restructure debt.

The class is free and open to the public.

It runs from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, in the Chamber's boardroom, which is located at 1200 North Oak Street in Myrtle Beach.
