Hurricane Hunters fixed the center of Hanna at 9:08pm and found the central pressure down to 978mb.  Hanna cotinues to get a bit better organized, but any strengthening will be minimal as dry air and wind shear remain an issue.

It's still possible Hanna regains hurricane status before landfall, but to you and me, there is very little difference between a strong tropical storm and a minimal hurricane...only about 5 mph to be exact!

Wind and rain are already increasing across the area and that will continue through the night. Our live Pinpoint WeatherNet has recorded wind gust to near 40 mph in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach while Edisto buoy (about 50 miles southeast of Charleston) had a gust to 36 mph and Frying Pan Shoals (60 miles east of Georgetown) has had a gust of 43 mph.

Hanna is quickly moving north and a landfall on the northern South Carolina coast will occur well after after midnight. It's worth noting that Hanna is a sprawling system so the exact landfall location is irrelevant. Assuming the forecast track is reasonably close, here's a time line of events and how you will be impacted.
