SUV Driver Charged in Motorcycle Accident

There is at most every cross street or intersection, a limit line painted upon the road to advise people where you must stop your vehicle behind. When you are at a driveway, this line may not be painted, but the reasning behind the limit line provides information to the brain that it is still there. In this case, the driver pulls out without looking or stopping behind this painted or imaginary line to first look both ways to assure a safe pull out onto the roadway.

What is so unfortunate, the driver is being charged with failure to yield. In my state, that may be a $90 fine. Big frikken deal! The motorcycle rider who was minding his own business until this idiot failed to acer about anyone else besides himself could be crippled for the rest of his life or could have been killed.

The punishment does not fit the crime!
