Horry County police are now investigating reports of several pet poisonings in the Dunn Acres subdivision. One man, who says his dogs were poisoned, created a homemade sign to warn his neighbors about the threat. From that sign, he hung the body of his dead dog.

A year ago, a survey conducted showed 62 percent of Atlantic Beach residents would like to see Ocean Boulevard opened to through traffic to encourage development. But Monday night, the AB Planning Commission told the town council they don't think the street should be opened.
