For 23-year-old Josh Richmond of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, baseball is life. His dad played college ball at Eastern Kentucky for five years. Baseball was Richmond's life up until a year and a half ago.

Coast RTA has reached another record year in ridership. Reports show that Coast RTA carried 723,892 passengers in FY2011, which is up from last year's figure of 576,908. The additional 147,074 passengers represent a twenty-five percent increase.
